Performing Arts

Through a variety of programs, SAF seeks to serve as a resource for technical assistance and capacity building for artists and presenters, provide access to quality and diverse programming to underserved communities, and encourage performances that serve as a catalyst for community engagement.

• The Performing Arts Exchange (PAE) is the primary marketplace and forum for performing arts presenting and touring—artists and work, ideas, learning and information—in the eastern United States.
• PD@PAE is a professional development program for performing artists, managers and presenters attending the Performing Arts Exchange conference.
• SAF’s SouthArts Fund offers grants to support touring performing arts programs and technical assistance for performing arts presenting organizations.
