Launched by the Southern Arts Federation in 2003, ArtsOpportunities.org provides a free forum for arts organizations to post jobs, internships, auditions and other calls for entry to a targeted arts audience. Today the site showcases a new look and new functionality thanks to a new owner: the Center for Arts Management and Technology (CAMT) at Carnegie Mellon University.
Southern Arts Federation’s distribution of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds will be through our region’s nine state arts agencies to re-grant funds to arts organizations in our states for arts jobs preservation. We recommend you check into your state's programs for more information. Local arts agencies (generally arts councils or commissions) may re-grant those funds to arts organizations in their local area. Be in touch with your local arts agency to learn more.
Visit the NEA Web site for more information >>
ARRA funds through other federal agencies may also be available to assist artists and arts organizations.
