Join us for the annual Folklorists in the South (FITS) retreat, May 16-18, 2008 at Lutheridge Conference Center in Arden, North Carolina. This year we will explore the opportunities and challenges of working with immigrant and refugee groups in the South. We’ll discuss current research, successful projects and new public programs. FITS is open to public sector folklorists, community scholars, academics, students and others working in folklife in the South.
