Professional development workshops at the Performing Arts Exchange (PAE) support the presenting and touring field with practical management, leadership and career training. During PAE, we offer workshops for artists, managers and presenters through three focus areas: Fundamentals, Skills, and Issues and Ideas. Download PAE 2008 Professional Development Handouts Last year's workshop attendance totaled more than 600, which attests to the importance of professional education in the presenting field. Many workshop attendees indicated that professional development is a major part of the reason they participate in the conference. At PAE 2008, more than 24 professional development sessions will be offered Thursday through Saturday on September 25, 26 and 27 and will cover a wide range of topics designed to meet the needs of professionals in the presenting field. In 2007, the educational workshop component of the conference was called NALI. It is now referred to as Professional Development at PAE or PD@PAE.
