We’re pleased to announce the joint Folklorists in the South and Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation convenings, Saturday-Monday, June 19-21, 2010. We will gather in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at the Aqueduct Conference Center.

This weekend welcomes public sector and academic folklorists, community scholars, students, and anyone interested in traditional culture. The gathering will include professional development, media presentations, panels, discussions and fieldtrips in addition to the opportunity to meet informally with peers.

So add June 19-21 to your Outlook, iPhone, doodle pad or Facebook calendar. Expect a rewarding learning and networking opportunity, anticipate seeing colleagues and friends (old & new), assume delicious meals and a beautiful setting, and count on a really good time! You don’t want to miss it!!
