Good governance doesn’t just happen naturally. It isn’t easy, but it’s both a rewarding and critical part of what makes an institution more effective in the long-run. Taking place in Phoenix on May 15-16, the NAS Strategic Governance seminar is an opportune investment in the long-term efficiency and success of your organization that will help it withstand even the toughest of times. Leading professors from the nation’s most prestigious business schools will provide you with the tools and frameworks to continuously evaluate and enhance your board practices and align them with your organization’s mission. You’ll work with your team and top business school faculty to make sure everyone returns home with practical solutions and a strategy with which to execute them.
Time is running out, so register now and reserve up to $600 per person in travel assistance. The cost of the program is $225-350 a person, depending on how many staff and board members you bring. Board participation is essential!

The Business of Arts and Culture is a new, nationwide executive education program from National Arts Strategies. This unique investment in the leaders of cultural organizations combines executive seminars, applied learning projects, and financial scholarships for participants across the country. |
The program draws on top professors from schools including Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and MIT. These instructors use highly interactive classroom experiences to address the specific issues of mid- and large-sized arts and cultural organizations.
Through the support of a national network of funders, tuition is highly subsidized and travel assistance is available to make it affordable for teams to participate. Professional development funding may also be available from your state arts agency to defray travel and registration costs. Participation by a team of administrative and artistic leadership (executive director, artistic director, board chair, etc.) is encouraged. Tuition is $350 per person for a team of 1-2; $250 per person for a team of 3-5, and $225 per person for a team of six. Additional travel assistance is available for teams of three or more, which is provided as reimbursements of up to $600 per person.
