Applications are open through March 18 for artists working in any visual medium across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Artists across the South are redefining what visual art can be. 

South Arts’ Southern Prize & State Fellowships for Visual Arts recognize and celebrate exceptional artists across the South. This cycle will award $80,000 to nine outstanding visual artists working in any medium. Eligible artists must be based in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee.
