About the Artist

This quartet consists of Svetlana, band leader/vocalist, Willerm Delisfort, piano, Henry Conerway III, drums, and Adi Meyerson, bass. Svetlana’s four–piece New York Collective has performed several small tours in November 2019. This tour will be their first extended tour as a quartet. Svetlana has performed professionally since 2011 after reaching success as a management consultant and associate professor at Columbia University - and has toured with her various bands nationally and internationally since 2017, headlining hundreds of sold-out shows in the US and abroad. Svetlana and her band have performed in renowned jazz clubs, performing arts centers in the US (Blue Note / Blue Note Festival, Regatta Bar, Jazz Standard, DC Jazz Festival) and some internationally (Tel Aviv Blues Festival, Jerusalem Globus Festival, Italian Rovigo Jazz Festival, India’s Total Environment Foundation, Canada’s Jazz Bistro, and more).

Svetlana is a finalist of the Paul Carr's 2019 Discovery Act Competition, finalist of the American Music Abroad program, and an alternate of the 2019 and 2020 American Traditions vocal competitions. Svetlana’s sound blends swing, straight-ahead jazz and original material, forging deep connections with audiences with her strong vocals, charismatic performance style, exciting improvisational aspects of performance, and engaging storytelling. Svetlana's latest record, Night at the Movies, debuted #1 on US Billboard Traditional Jazz Album Charts in 2019 (produced by Grammy Award winning Matt Pierson, and arranged by Gil Goldstein – featuring Wycliffe Gordon, Sullivan Fortner, Pasqualle Grasso, Rogerio Boccato, Jon Eric Kelso and more) and has been distributed in Japan by the Inpartmaint label. Svetlana's album Night at the Speakeasy (produced by Grammy Award winning Guy Eckstine and featuring Wycliffe Gordon) has been released to critical acclaim on Origin Records in 2015 and charted on US Jazz Radio charts.
