Hogslop String Band, a traditional southern string band, will visit Caldwell County Schools in Princeton, Ky to conduct a two-day residency with one workshop for students; two school day performances for students and one public evening performance at Caldwell County High School Fine Arts Building. Folklorist/historian/ethnomusicologist Nathan Blake Lynn will discuss the history of folk music with an emphasis on string bands as an opening for each performance.
