Pat "Mother Blues" Cohen, with Jazz and Blues Scholar, Dr. Joan Cartwright, will conduct a two-day residency at public locations in Delray Beach, FL. This residency program is part of the Spady Museum's annual Juneteenth Celebration in which "Mother Blues" will also perform a full length concert during the celebration. Dr. Cartwright will lead the discussion about the history of Blues/Jazz in traditional celebrations such as Juneteenth as well as the history of women and the Blues.
