Dr. Rain Prud'homme-Cranford Gomez will conduct a three-day residency in St. Landry Parish in which she 1) gives one public reading, 2) teaches a poetry workshop in a public school and 3) teaches a poetry workshop in a community center; her poetry will also be celebrated through drive-by poetry in which youth perform her poems in gift shops, grocery stores and other non-traditional venues.
