Sewing Stories with Seniors, a partnership between UAB Arts in Medicine and Bib & Tucker Sew-Op, will lead sewing sessions and an oral history project in senior living facilities to build community and purpose among individuals at risk for isolation and loneliness. Quilts for each facility will be created and inspired by personal stories shared in the quilting sessions; a closing event will bring all participants together to share artwork, oral histories & experiences.
