For Alabama Residents
The Alabama State Council on the Arts is funding a limited number of partial and full scholarships to help cover the costs of attending and participating in FITS. Anyone in Alabama may apply, but the State Council will prioritize requests from students, artists, independent scholars, culture workers, and community members. Please note, you must be an Alabama resident to be eligible for this scholarship.

Apply for Alabama State Council on the Arts Scholarships
For Georgia Residents
Georgia residents may apply for a scholarship for the FITS gathering through the Georgia Council for the Arts. The scholarship will cover registration for the conference. Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the gathering and any fees for additional field trips/activities. The deadline to apply is April 17, 2023. All applicants will be notified of their scholarship status by April 26, 2023.
