For Individual Artists

These are external resources for networking in the arts community. It includes registries, directories and rosters on state and local levels with information on eligibility and services. This is a growing list; more registry opportunities throughout the South will be listed as they become available.

This reference is primarily for free opportunities. However, dozens of national, regional, and local artist guilds and associations also exist that can aid in networking and development for a relatively small membership fee.

If you notice an organization missing, please inform Ivan Schustak, Director of Communications and Development (404-874-7244 x29).

State Arts Agencies

Rosters facilitated by state commissions are often competitive, requiring applications, including proof of residence, work history, art samples and interviews. These adjudicated rosters put you at the forefront for public commissions, teaching artist roles and partnerships with statewide presenters. Some commissions have multiple registries for performance and teaching artists. Rosters are used by organizations and other entities seeking high quality, vetted artists specializing in various strengths and disciplines.
