The Warriors of AniKituhwa from Cherokee, North Carolina, will conduct a two-day residency at The Center for Rural Development. This dance group brings to life traditional Cherokee dances. They will perform three shows over two days, two at The Center and one at The Neighborhood assisted living facility. They will provide living history demonstrations, dances, programs in flute, storytelling, history of Cherokee language, demonstrations of beadwork, moccasin making, quillwork, and pottery.
