Wayne Toups & Zydecajun will conduct a two-day residency that will include a lecture/discussion on the history of Cajun music at the Cultural Center, a combined dance lesson and music/dance Q&A at the Performing Arts Center, and a public evening performance at the Performing Arts Center. Project scholar and folklorist Dr, Barry Jean Ancelet will lecture on the history of Cajun music and lead discussions and dance instruction at residency events with Wayne Toups & Zydecajun.
