The Cowan Community Action Group will offer a weekend of teacher training workshops for 50 mountain music teachers, teaching assistants and advanced students, May 10-12, 2024. The workshops will be led by Cowan Creek Mountain Music School senior faculty, selected for their ability to communicate essential technical skills and share pedagogic approaches for teaching the Kentucky repertoire in fiddle, banjo, guitar, mountain dulcimer and singing.
