Duke Performances will bring the South Louisiana Cajun roots ensemble the Lost Bayou Ramblers to Durham for a residency and three performances: on Thursday, September 7, 2017, as headliners at the Pinhook in downtown Durham; and on Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9, as part of a chamber orchestra featuring members of the North Carolina Symphony that will accompany a screening of Benh Zeitlin's Oscar-nominated 2012 film, 'Beasts of the Southern Wild', at Reynolds Industries Theater.
