David Shields is the internationally bestselling author of twenty books, including Reality Hunger, The Thing About Life Is That One Day You'll Be Dead, Black Planet, and Other People: Takes and Mistakes (Knopf, 2017). He will be providing a free lecture and reading at a venue that is easily accessible to the FSU, TCC and Tallahassee community, including high schoolers and seniors.
