From 7/12 to 8/2, the School of Making Thinking's IMMERSION 5.0: VR Creation Lab will be hosting the virtual reality creation residency where artists engage the racial history of America in the context of a southern city: Wilmington, North Carolina. Bringing meanings of immersion together, artists will learn about Wilmington's racial history and how it shapes the present while becoming acquainted with the growing field of VR and developing and executing an immersive media project.
