The Pamlico Musical Society will present Ranky Tanky, a quintet from Charleston, SC performing a contemporary form of ethnic low country/Gullah jazz music, in two settings: (1) an evening concert at the Old Theater in Oriental, NC, and (2) an afternoon educational outreach event, which will be free and open to the public, to be held at Holts Chapel Community Center in a historic black Rosenwald School.
