Piedmont Blues Preservation Society

The Piedmont Blues Society will host a two-day celebration of the roots of American Blues in West African Percussive Arts featuring Atiba Rorie and his ensemble, Africa Unplugged. The weekend will begin with an all-ages percussion workshop, followed by a full-length concert by Africa Unplugged. The concert will be punctuated by an expert panel discussion on the crossover between Blues and African music. Finally, an all-ages African dance workshop will take place the following afternoon.
