In conjunction with the Jefferson County Memorial Project, Red Mountain Theatre is commissioning an original new work entitled Memorial, which will explore the lives of victims murdered by racial violence and lynching in Jefferson County, Alabama. This new production will combine the artistic mission of RMT with the public education mission of JCMP to bring awareness about this local history to our community through a variety of performances and provide outlets for vital community conversations.
