Rolling Applications

In addition to the deadlines listed below, South Arts has multiple programs that support rolling applications.

  • Express Grants. These grants of up to $2,000 support organizations in rural communities to present artists of any discipline for public engagements and educational opportunities.
  • Individual Artist Career Opportunity Grants. These grants of up to $2,000 support individual artists to take advantage of a milestone opportunity in their career.
  • Jazz Road Tours. These grants support jazz artists with awards of up to $15,000 to build tours reaching parts of the country underserved by the art form.
  • Professional Development and Artistic Planning Grants. These grants of up to $1,000 support arts organizations to gain the tools and knowledge necessary to support their audiences.

Traditional Arts Touring Grants

Supporting the presentation of a traditional artist/ensemble for multi-day residencies in Southern communities with grants of up to $5,000.

Scholarships: NC ArtsMarket

Applications are now open for presenting organizations in our nine-state primary region to receive scholarships to attend North Carolina ArtsMarket in Durham, NC on Nov 8-10, 2021.
