Rolling Applications

In addition to the deadlines listed below, South Arts has multiple programs that support rolling applications.

  • Express Grants.┬áThese grants of up to $2,000 support organizations in rural communities to present artists of any discipline for public engagements and educational opportunities.
  • Micro Accessibility Grants. These grants of up to $2,500 support arts organizations to make arts programs accessible to persons with disabilities.
  • Professional Development and Artistic Planning Grants. These grants of up to $1,000 support arts organizations to gain the tools and knowledge necessary to support their audiences.

Traditional Arts Touring Grants

Supporting the presentation of a traditional artist/ensemble for multi-day residencies in Southern communities with grants of up to $5,000.

Presentation Grants

These grants of up to $9,500 for organizations support the presentation of a Southern artist for a performing arts, literary arts, visual arts, or film engagement.

Jazz Road Tours

Through this national initiative, jazz artists can apply for grants of up to $15,000 to take their work on the road on tours across the United States.

Jazz Road Creative Residencies

Jazz artists, apply for a grant to explore your work in new ways. Grants of $5,000-$40,000 available to support a residency you propose & develop for artistic creation or connecting with audiences
